UNASHAMED CAMBRIDGE

Kia ora friends, family and supporters

We partnered with Bridges Church and Raleigh Street Christian Centre to bring UNASHAMED to Cambridge - something that has been in the works for a couple of years. Young people flooded the venue, countdown pumping and artists all geared up. The night flowed smoothly with rap artist Blsd One, local band Sure Brake, Spoken Word Poet Sonya and Bridges youth worship team.

As I stepped out on stage the message I had planned flew out the window - the words flowed and I sensed God's hand on everyone. The moment had come. After laying out the Gospel I offered the invitation to turn to Jesus - after a few moments I opened by eyes to see the alter filled, tears flowing and the Holy Spirit clearly touching the hearts of young people all around.

After the event we gathered together with the team, youth leaders included and prayed, thanking God for what He had done and praying for the youth. One of the youth leaders shared his highlight of the night - a young person whom he prayed for admitted to him that he was nervous about going home to parents who hated Christianity. There was no hiding it either, not only had that young person had chosen to follow Christ they bought one of our tees!!

Thank you again for your prayer! Back into it tonight in Hamilton!

Please keep us in your prayers as we seek to continue to be faithful to the great commission and see "Every young person in Aotearoa reached with the message!"

Blessings
