Training Camp - An army is rising up

I am convinced that God is raising up an army of young people who would seek Him with their whole hearts and boldly deliver His message to our nation. Last week I got to see this first hand as God raised up normal, average young people into bold and fiery witnesses for Him!

From 5-13 December, ten youth and young adults committed to spend 8 days pursuing Jesus and and being trained in evangelism and outreach. I can confidently say that this training camp was one of the most refreshing and powerful things I have ever been part of. Intense is an understatement. Days would start at 6.30am with a time of seeking God and would often finish with beautiful moments in His presence at midnight. With only a few hours downtime over the week you would expect the whole team would be shattered and yet God really sustained us all in a nearly supernatural way. Even in the free time we did have available, the team would often use this to seek God, learn from His Word or worship together. 

It was so beautiful to see these students walk in so much freedom from their past and stand up boldly to present the message of Jesus. Some came timid and quiet and yet found themselves on stages in front of hundreds of people sharing Christ boldly. Others overcame their fears and approached people on the street, and others stood up to share Jesus in front of hundreds in a mall. Even since the camp finished, the stories of bold steps of faith, amazing witnessing opportunities and beautiful times in the Word are still flooding in.  

We are planning to run more of these camps come 2021, so keep an eye out - maybe this could be for you or someone you know.
