UNASHAMED Rotorua Update - "We need more seats!"

The countdown began. Music pumped and lights flashed as young people started filing in full of excitement and expectation. "We need more seats!" one of our team yelled with enthusiasm in an attempt to alert us above the sound of the music. Once everyone had found a seat we all waited in anticipation - we knew what would happen, we had seen it plenty of times, God would do what He does best and young people would find salvation in His arms!

That night the alter was full and tears flowed as young people turned to Jesus. While youth leaders and our team prayed for young people, I couldn't help but shed a tear or two out of thankfulness to God. At that moment I was reminded of the desperate need for the Gospel to reach not only these young people, but every young person in Aotearoa. 

That night 38 young people made first time commitments to Christ! Also, as a result a new youth group was kicked off and is growing! Praise God!
